Leopard Geckos, Crickets, and Mealworms...Oh My...!!!

Hey Y'all, Monster Smiling I'm not really sure if I told anybody on here about my Leopard Gecko, Monster. I love him dearly but lately I think he has become lazy. Leopard Gecko's are hunters and he likes to hunt for his food. The problem with that is that I feed him mealworms in a dish. They don't really require all that much hunting. So I decided to get some crickets for him. I found them outside in the drained pond. These crickets are so annoying. All they do is chirp all night, every night, dusk till dawn. These bugs don't care what time of day it is. They just chirp on away like they have no care in the world. I think I might have to buy some crickets from the pet store. That seems more reasonable than hunting for them myself outside. I just think it would be easier. Also, the ones outside might not be safe for him to eat. I was thinking of raising some myself. But I've heard that can be difficult. I'm not all that sure though. Lazy Monst

Finance Security- Saving Money...!!!

Hey Y'all, Life can be hard sometimes. A lot of this comes from stress over working and not making enough to cover all the bills. Life can be so stressful that sometimes you feel like you'll never crawl out of that hole. But the hole can be conquered, so don't give up. I know it's possible because I'm doing it. I've been working on paying off my debt for a long time now. I can only afford to make the minimum payment each month. All I really care about is that it's getting paid. I just want to improve my credit score. Once that goes down, its hard to rebuild. I've had my share of trouble. A lot of my troubles stem from money. I feel like money is out on a vine and I have to work very hard not to try and spend more above my means. I think a lot of people have this problem. I sure as hope I am not the only one. On top of that, being a college student can drain you as well. College requires money, most of which I don't really have. Someday I hope t

Writing on Wednesday's - Ginger Kitty...!!!

Hay Y'all, So in the end your trying to write something that's creative. You long to have the same powerful wit that most of your favorite writer's seem to have themselves. The question is, how do you get it? Well the obvious answer is of course, practice. This week, or I should say last week, I played with the idea of a new creative writing exercise. I didn't get very far but I liked the idea behind it. So I went with it. This is what I got. Creative Writing - Written Sept 18th, 2014 Ginger stretched out her paws and yawned. Her cat eyes looked around the still, silent room. She meowed and jumped off the bed.  So this creative idea comes from my own cat, Ginger. Ginger is a peculiar cat and I want to continue further with this creative idea. I'm sorry this post doesn't have more. It's not something I can always find time for. I really wish I could though. I'll try better. I will.

Top Ten Tuesday's...!!!

Hey Y'all, I'm trying to decide if I should make this a thing on my blog. Sorry its kind of coming to you all a day late. I wasn't sure what my top ten would be this week. I think I have a good one though. I hope you all enjoy this one. I thought long and hard about my Top Ten Tuesday list and everyone seems to be doing something with books. I thought it would be fun to do one for something different. So I'm going to do one for Top Ten Tuesday's Favorite Disney Characters. I am a huge Disney fan and this one really relates to my personal interest more than anything else. So here we go... 1. Tinkerbell - Tink has been one of my favorite Disney characters forever now. I have watched every single Tinkerbell movie they've made. My car has Tinkerbell seat covers and a wheel cover. I also have two Tinkerbell key ring and a Tinkerbell house key. There's just something about being a fairy that really fascinates me and my inner child. 2. Simba - I love The

My Writing Playlist...!!!

Hay Guys, Today I decided I wanted to share with you my playlist. I like to listen to music when I write because it helps me ignore everything that is going on around me and focus on what I'm trying to write. Sometimes the songs even give me inspiration for my stories. So let's start off with some of my favorite songs.   Top Ten Songs to Listen to When Writer... 1. Bang Bang by Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Jessie J. 2. Beautiful Lie by Stereotide 3. Echo by Jason Walker 4. Ghost by Katy Perry 5.  Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down 6. Dance With The Devil by Breaking Benjamin 7. I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace 8. Strange Days by Bryan Ellis 9. Heart By Heart by Demi Lovato 10. Magnetic by Jessie J. Honestly, there are a ton of songs I listen to when writing but this is some of my favorite ones. I try to mix it up but I find these to help the most. Of course, I listen to music on my phone through an app called Spotify so it kind of just plays whateve

Witch is Dead...!!!

Hello Y'all, So its that time of year again. The Fall is closing upon us. It is starting to get colder during the day and night, the leaves are starting to fall and change color, and the grass is starting to look dead. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. My birthday is in the Fall and so is my favorite holiday, Halloween. I really miss Trick or Treating. I loved dressing up for Halloween. It's fun to be someone else for a change.  I remember one time I dressed up as a cat and handed out the candy to all the little kids in our neighbor hood.  Also, Thanksgiving is pretty nice as well. Its a great time to spend time with family and friends. Today, I went to Best Buy to buy a Net 10 sim card to transfer my phone to their pay as you go plan. I went to insert the new sim card and then turned my phone back on. It didn't recognize the new sim card. So I put my old one back in and the same thing happened. Then my phone dropped and now the screen doesn't show up anymore. I&#

Inspiration has Finally Come to Me...!!!

Hello Readers, So inspiration has finally struck me like lighting strikes the earth. Finally, right. I mean I thought I'd never progress with Chapter Seven of my book, The Light Chronicles. For awhile I really thought I wouldn't make any progress. I would have to set my book aside for some time. But it appears that inspiration will come, just unexpectedly. It came to me while I was at work, of all places work. Can you believe it? I sure as heck can't. The best part is that I made progress on the First Chapter of The Destroyer as well. Which you can read more about in my books and manuscripts tabs on my blog. I just thought you know, maybe its not time to write this right now. I thought I needed more life experiences because sometimes you need to know in order to write. Does that sound weird? Probably a little, but my life experiences sometimes help me write better stories I think. I also think it helps make my characters easier to relate with.  I hope to share these t

Writing on Wednesday's - Wild Star...!!!

Hello Readers, So I've decided that I think I want to bring back Writing on Wednesday's. I'm not really sure how that will go. I'll have to review and look at some of my older posts. I don't really remember what I did for theses posts. I am going to give a heads up that this type of post might be more centered around the ideas I jot down before bed.I believe that I use to talk about tips for writing. If I get any, I will share them for this post. But until then, maybe I'll talk about some of the advice I've gotten from people in the past. I do have a few tricks up my sleeve. I'm sure we all do. Any who, let's start this post off the way it was meant to be started. Creative Ideas - Written August 23, 2014 Wild Star looked up at the full moon that hung low in the sky. The urge to lift up his muzzle and sing to it was an overpowering feeling. He tipped back his head and a low cry that carried across the valley. It was a sad, lonely song.  Wild

Top Ten Tuesday...!!!

Hello Readers, So a fellow blogger, Page Turner , is doing something called the Top Ten Tuesday post. I decided I was going to do one as well since I like to challenge myself. The rules are as follows. You must name your Top Ten authors that you have read one book from but need to read more. This will be challenging for me since I love to read. I usually try to get my hands on everything that the author has published. But there are a select few, that I haven't had the chance to read. Here it goes... 1. Veronica Roth - Divergent was an awesome read. I definitely want to continue with this amazing series. I enjoy good books and this book made a great impression on me. I also wanted to read it before I saw the movie. Tis only fair to the author, I think. 2. Lissa Price - Starters was a very enjoyable read. I sometimes forget to take the time to sit down and set time to read. It's a rather bad habit. But I couldn't put this book down. It was very hard. I just wish

Forbidden Ties and New Directions...!!!

Hello Readers, So I've decided to take Forbidden Ties, a book I have been writing since October of 2009, in a new direction. I wanted to give you all a taste of my first page. It's the only one I have written so far. I think I am a little scared to try and start all over since I've been working so hard on it for so long. But maybe, just maybe the new direction will be a good one. For bidden Ties Prologue Revision - Thinking of making this the First Page of the First Chapter Morgan's hair whipped in the cold November wind. She stared out across the meadows. The lush grass swayed, inviting her to walk out to the old oak tree that stood in the middle. Morgan moved swiftly through the grass, letting the tips of tickle her palms as she went. The old oak's tree's leaves rustled in the wind, pulling her forward. "Hello, old friend." she said putting her hand along the trunk of the tree. The old oak groaned in response. She sat at the base of the tre

The Man in The Blue Suede Suit...!!!

Hello Readers, It's starting to get cold outside, a sure way of knowing that Fall is coming to Earth. I dislike being cold when I'm sick. I have been sitting here typing away on my new blog . I have been wondering what made me want to start another blog when I can barely keep up with this one. I decided that the answer to this is very simple indeed. I wanted to have somewhere where I could talk about my favorite food recipes and share my love of cooking and baking with others like me. I might even from time to time post posts from my food blog on my writing blog if its about something relevant. I would especially do this if a cake was involved. I love making birthday cakes, one of my favorite pastimes along with reading, drawing, gardening, and writing. I guess I'm just old fashioned. I like to create with my hands because its the most powerful thing that someone can do. Here's something I've been working on. It might not seem like much but it's not a comple

I love to cook, bake, and garden and I can't wait to share that with all of you. I can't say I will post often but I will try to bring something new each week if I can find the time to blog. That is hard to come by theses days.  This is the link to the new site. Please check me out there as well and follow me.

Sims 4 - First Impressions...!!!

Hello Fellow Bloggers, So as many of you know, I was pretty excited to hear that they were making a new Sims game. I have been playing this game since the first game, the Sims One.  I then preceded to play the Sims 2, which was not as good as I had hoped. I did however like that they had added toddlers. The toddlers that was something special, it added a whole new side to the Sims universe. Then they came out with the Sims 3 and all the expansion packs that followed. They added a ton of great stuff and made the sims this huge world to explore. After that there was talk of the Sims 4. I preorederd my game like any fan would do. It came out a few days before my birthday and I considered it a birthday gift to myself. I like the Sims 4 but they changed it a lot compared to the older games. It is no longer an open world, if you go somewhere there is a loading screen. They took away pools which have been a part of every main base Sims game. The creators also took away the toddlers stage
