Must Read Book of the Week!

03/17 - This is Last Thursday's Post. I'm  not going to do a short story for Last Friday. I didn't get a chance to finish it and I have to work on it ASAP.

By: Maggie Stiefvater
And the I opened my eyes and it was just Grace and me - nothing anywhere but Grace and me - she pressing her lips together as though she were keeping m kiss inside her; and me holding this moment that was as fragile as a bird in my hands.

Well I was planning on putting a picture of this book for all my fellow bloggers to see but my picture doesn't want to work right so this will have to do. This book I picked up at the Library a few weeks back because I thought it sounded interesting. So I started to read it and was like wow, this is so different from all the vampire/werewolves books I've read so far. Okay this is the first werewolf boo I have read other than the Twilight series. Edward could of been so much hotter but if I had to choose between Jacob or Edward in the movie, I would have picked Jacob. He's hot. Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that the author, Maggie Stiefvater took a completely different approach to this is werewolf thing. I mean it's so different from all the other tales, it's original. It's awesome because it's not like all the others.

The story revolves around Seth and Grace. Grace is the girl who is always outside, sitting on a swing reading a book, and ignoring her family's issues. Seth is the wolf in the winter watching Grace from the safety of the woods and the boy in the summer who wants nothing more than for her to notice him. The story is about finding romance, coming of age, accepting difference when the odds are against you, and a mystery of the wolves of Mercy Falls.Like the main character, Grace, I have a odd fascination with wolves. I think they are beautiful majestic creatures.

I would recommend this book to all of my friends. It's a really good read stating the fact that I'm only half way through the book but it's good nonetheless. Next time your at the library or the bookstore, take a gander and pick it up. I think you'll really like it.

Happy Reading!
Love Britt

Expensive Things I'd Love to Own...!!!

Hey Y'all.

Lately I have been feeling the need to take the time to really think about what I want from life. As most of you know by now, I became a mother in January. My journey of motherhood has been a wonderful one so far. Ever since I have become a mother, I have felt this need to upgrade my life. I have felt this need to upgrade my style of clothing. I thought I was going for the whole bohemian style look that I really do love. But I realized something from one to many of my shopping trips. I've found that as much as I love the the bohemian style. I tend to lean towards clothes that are classy and elegant that I can pair with my bohemian style. I've decided that though that I wish to continue with this style choice which is called bohemian chic or bohemian classy. I want to look into buying some name brand items to add to my closet that will last me a lot longer than their more affordable counterparts.

I also need to start working out so I can look start to feel good a…

Writing on Wednesdays's - Beautiful...!!!

Hey Y'all,
Does he even see me So many different things That make you special
She'll never see the way you look at her Even though secretly she does She's got a mild attraction she can't help
Will he ever see me  Do you know...Do you know He'll actually understand To caught up in himself
Do you you know

I'm not sure who this is about. I think it was back when I was trying to write lyrics for songs. Yeah, as you can see it wasn't my thing. It may not have been for that. I mean I'm not much of a poet either.
