Hey Y'all,
So here's a little something that I came up with a few days ago. I'm not sure if I really like it but I thought it would be fun to share with the rest of you. I know I've been away from my blog for a long time and I will do better. I'm just really stressed out and my life is falling pieces of a puzzle that need to be found before it can be put back together again. Anyway, here's this weeks writing.
Dead Woods
The girl looked into the barren woods. Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched the last of its life slip away. The leaves slowly fell to the ground. The forest had been her home these last few months. She ran her fingers over the white bark of the trees.
" Well friends, it looks like I must move on." she smiled and hugged the tree as if it returned the hug. She turned and walked out of the woods. Into the field and down the muddy road that lead out of it.
Her memories in the woods flashed before her eyes. Her running through the woods barefoot singing as a child. She knew the woods like the back of her own hand. She loved them like a daughter loves a parent on the good and the bad days of the year.
So this is all I have for my little idea. Its kind of interesting to say in the least. I seem to write the most strange things when I'm really down about life. I just kind of pour it out into a glass of words and ideas for my writing.
