About the Author

Hey Everyone,

I'm Beauty Ink. If your a relative, a close friend of mine, or you've seen my blog before the name changed then you know that my real name is Brittney or Britt for short. Since I'm here to write and share my stories with fellow blogger's, bookworms, and extraordinaire than I feel explaining my life to you in paragraphs would be a waste of time. I grew up in Harrisburg and Hershey Pennsylvania. Hershey is the home of the Hershey Chocolate bar that you find in many stores across the USA. As a child I moved around quite a lot and found it very difficult to make friends that really stuck with me throughout the years. I was in the second grade when I met my best friend Amanda. We've know each other for almost eleven years now. When I was thirteen years old, my family and I moved to Clearwater, Florida. Also around this time, I began to write after reading Ice Fire By: Chris D'Lacey. In the seventh grade, my mother and father split up. My mother moved back to Pennsylvania and I stayed in Clearwater with my father to finish out the school year. I continued to write for the next two years until I lost all my work on a book I was writing about wolves in the eighth grade. I moved back to PA in the summer and began collecting books from the local borders. I  read the book Throwing like a Girl By: Weezie Karr Mackey. After exchanging emails back and forth with this author a few times, she encouraged me to start writing again. So I started on my first book, The Forbidden Ties. I continued writing, doing what I could to keep my grades up in school while walking through the hallways with fresh ideas in my mind. Soon after, I started forming the idea for The Suicide Letter after writing a letter to myself in my tenth grade English class. In that same year I began forming the ideas for my third book, The Light Chronicles. In the summer, I moved to Fort Myers for a year. While there I got my first job, passed the GED Test, and came up with a fourth idea for a book called the Destroyer. I moved back to PA with my family where I reside now. I live with two cats and dog. All of who have names that are always changing depending on my step dads moods.

Silly FACTS About Me:

I have a bookshelf that is filled to the brim with books. It is my own secret little wish to have a library of my own.

I want to own my own Victorian Style Home. I love the Victorian Era and the Middle Ages. I think it would be a lot of fun to live back in the day when women always wore dresses and men had top hats.

I hate lending my books to people. I like my books to look brand new like I got it right off the shelf from borders and brought it home. No torn pages, marked pages, anything that could ultimately damage a book.

I would rather buy my own books than borrow them from the library. Seriously you don't know where that book has been.

I love reading all books but am a little skeptical when it comes to covers. If a cover doesn't attract me to a book than I usually won't pick it up.

Nine Lives too Short....!!!

Hey Everyone I've been working on making  on completing my job applications. Which would be a lot easier if I kept all my references in one place. But no, crazy organized girl can't seem to do that. Wow, that's just sad. I'll have to get some kind of system going on to keep all my current information together. Then bye bye crazy application problems. I signed up to take my Driver's License Test. I guess that's big news. I finally be able to drive. Which will be great for college, work, and smaller endeavors.  I'm super nervous. I feel so much could go wrong. The worst that could happen is that I can't parallel park or I can't follow the instructor's commands which should be pretty basic.I hope it is anyway. I've been keeping in contact with my boyfriend who lives in Fort Myers. Haha. Talk about long distance. I think I've been doing a pretty good job so far because I've kept in touch with him and I text him almost everyday.  I r

Unknown on Saturday's!

K is for Kim Possible! Kim Possible is probably the best show that Disney Channel has ever churned out. When I as younger, I loved watching Kim on Saturday Cartoons. She was a role model to me. I looked up to Kim Possible. I mean what little girl wouldn't want to be just like her. She's a cheerleader, not the most popular girl in High School, has the most awesome best friend and new boyfriend, and she saves the world. Who wouldn't want to save the world?  I mean if it was possible to be like Possible then I'd totally go for it. I love Kim and I love the show. I still watch the show when it's on from time to time, just to relive the experience and it's still the best show ever.
