R is for Revolution

Caio,

That's Hello in Italian. I decided I wanted to mix up my blog posts a little by saying hello in other languages. I thought that would be a pretty  cool idea and I would be intrigued if someone did that. So I decided I would do that, because I have a small fascination by other foreign languages. So tomorrow's hello could be in any language I desire. Hmm, gives one a lot to think about on her free time doesn't it? Well, I'll be using the language to language translator like a mad hatter or should I say mad... em...something, or maybe even that might not be the right word. Well, Ill just keep my Alice In Wonderland reference then.

Also, another thing I will be doing this year is making a Must-Read Book List of 2011. During this year, I will make a list of books I want to read and then read them in that order. Which I am in the process of making this so called list right now. Then at the end of 2011, I will do a recap and give everyone my opinions on the books I've read and which were favorites and which ones I wouldn't recommend to a friend. I can't wait to start my next book. Who knows, maybe I will feel adventurous and do reviews of some of the books I read. I'm not sure if I could do that sort of thing but it's worth a try. I'll be giving it my all this year to read as much as possible while still having a life. Not that I have much of one right now. But hey, whose to judge when you are setting goals for yourself.

Another thing that I would like to do this year is finish or come very close to finishing The Light Chronicles. I have finished five chapters of the book already. But recently I have discovered that these chapters could use a little revising or editing, whatever you want to call it. I also think I want to change some things here and there and get back into the groove of just writing in general.

Also, I will no longer post anymore chapters on Inkpop.com or Authonomy.com. The sites themselves are great for advice but if I ever plan on getting my work published then I can't put it up on the internet for everyone to read. Where is the fun in that? I can't believe I use to struggle to complete with everyone on those sites. I use to want to get to the top but I realize that that top is not the right place for me.

Well, if I had anything else to say, I would say it but I don't. Maybe I should look up ways to say goodbye in other languages as well. Maybe next time.

Love Britt

I commend you on your ambitions, but I fear I must warn you that once you start working, especially if it is a full time job, there will be precious few moments to read, let alone write. But, as always, I wish you the best. And if anyone can do it........

Nine Lives too Short....!!!

Hey Everyone I've been working on making  on completing my job applications. Which would be a lot easier if I kept all my references in one place. But no, crazy organized girl can't seem to do that. Wow, that's just sad. I'll have to get some kind of system going on to keep all my current information together. Then bye bye crazy application problems. I signed up to take my Driver's License Test. I guess that's big news. I finally be able to drive. Which will be great for college, work, and smaller endeavors.  I'm super nervous. I feel so much could go wrong. The worst that could happen is that I can't parallel park or I can't follow the instructor's commands which should be pretty basic.I hope it is anyway. I've been keeping in contact with my boyfriend who lives in Fort Myers. Haha. Talk about long distance. I think I've been doing a pretty good job so far because I've kept in touch with him and I text him almost everyday.  I r

Unknown on Saturday's!

K is for Kim Possible! Kim Possible is probably the best show that Disney Channel has ever churned out. When I as younger, I loved watching Kim on Saturday Cartoons. She was a role model to me. I looked up to Kim Possible. I mean what little girl wouldn't want to be just like her. She's a cheerleader, not the most popular girl in High School, has the most awesome best friend and new boyfriend, and she saves the world. Who wouldn't want to save the world?  I mean if it was possible to be like Possible then I'd totally go for it. I love Kim and I love the show. I still watch the show when it's on from time to time, just to relive the experience and it's still the best show ever.
